omg i'm 20 weeks today!
how did this happen? i know that i have gotten a positive on a digital, moved across the country, seen the baby, heard the heartbeat, bought maternity clothes and a stroller, done some registry creation, felt movement...um, yeah and all that. but when did it happen? i realized, when reading over some of my older posts, that i'm not newly pregnant anymore. i won't have a first time positive pregnancy test or a first ultrasound, or any of that, every again. i did it already.
but i'm so glad i've blogged about it. i got teary-eyed yesterday reading and looking at the pictures of 12 week old baby h3b. that's my baby! my first baby. and i have stories and thoughts and memories written down to look back on. i want to keep it up for the next 20 weeks and hopefully, for awhile after.
not much going on for pregnant me. i started our baby registry and have been searching for bedding and decor. i think when we find out on monday, i'll be able to narrow my selections down. i feel great. hungry a lot, thirsty a lot. my belly really popped this last week and i wake up about as pregnant as when i go to sleep. after dinner and my nightly 5 glasses of fluid, my belly feels as though it might burst right open. a lot of stretching and pulling and belly button exposing.
i really love being pregnant right now. i'm not too big yet, i'm not carrying a ton of extra weight, and i don't have too many aches and pains. i love how i look (with a few exceptions - second chin and saddle bags, i'm looking at you) and i love dressing for pregnancy. i rock my belly in leggings and tunics and don't mind that it sticks out pretty obviously. i don't care how big i get, i know i'll miss being pregnant, even though i'll have a baby to show for it :)
20 weeks to go!

oh my. so I was scrolling down to the comments and I accidentally clicked on your boy parts picture and unexpectedly was met with a giant penis shot on my screen!
anywho...now that I'm over the shock of that.
Isn't it just absolutly amazing to know the gender and feel a different type of connection with the baby!?! Especially seeing all the parts and knowing that it's not just an alien in there, he's actually a little human:)
so excited for you!
